BUILDING A CHAMPION – OFFICIAL TRAILER

Ten years ago, our alumni and friends were gathered at our 75th Anniversary Gala when Michael Woodall coined the term “Building A Champion.” Over the last ten years, we’ve made countless entries to our history books, proving our spot at the top of DCI’s World Class.

In honor of our 85th Anniversary, Mike and Neal Woodall encapsulate the Boston Crusaders’ journey with their new short documentary, “Building A Champion.” Following the corps at the 2024 Drum Corps International Finals, this documentary weaves archival footage, vérité storytelling, and personal reflections. Hard to believe that 35 years have passed since we stood on the field for our age-out during the 50th Anniversary of The Boston Crusaders. We are so proud of the success that the corps has achieved in the years since. Who could have imagined then that the corps would be where it is today? Four-time winners of the Zingali Award for Best Color Guard, two-time DCI Silver Medalist with 26 consecutive DCI Finals appearances!! Well, here we are. Building A Champion.

The 85th Anniversary season is upon us and is jam packed with events to celebrate what we all have accomplished! Get a group of alumni from your era together and join us at the 85th Celebration in June, the East Coast Classic, or make a financial contribution to support the CORPS WE LOVE!
