Medical Team
Athletic Trainer
The Boston Crusaders are looking to add certified athletic trainers to their medical staff for the 2027 season. Athletic Trainers are responsible for providing preventative, emergency, and daily care to ~170 performing members over the course of the DCI Summer Tour. All athletic trainers will work under the supervision of the Corps’ medical director and Physician. Obligation dates may include all, or any part of, late May to early August of 2027 (tour schedule will be available here at the end of November.) Travel, meals, and housing will all be provided, as well as a time-based stipend. Interns
The Boston Crusaders are seeking highly motivated candidates enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate medical program interested in a medical intern position with the Boston Crusaders medical staff for the 2027 season. Professions eligible for an intern position include, but are not limited to, athletic training, physical therapy, nursing, pre-med, EMT/Paramedic, and physician assistant programs. Medical team interns will assist with preventative, emergency, and daily care to ~170 performing members over the course of the DCI Summer Tour, while further developing their hands-on skills and medical knowledge base. All interns will work under the supervision of head athletic trainer, Brian Hebbard. Obligation dates may include all, or any part of, late May to early August of 2027 (tour schedule will be available here at the end of November.) Travel, meals, and housing will all be provided. Volunteers
The Boston Crusaders are seeking medical professionals interested in volunteering their time and services to the medical team for the 2027 season. Professions eligible for volunteer positions include, but are not limited to, athletic trainers, physical therapists, nurses, EMT/paramedics, physician assistants, and mental health professionals. Medical team volunteers will assist and provide care to ~170 performing members over the course of the DCI Summer Tour. Obligation dates may include any portion of time between late May and early August (tour schedule will be available here at the end of November.). It is preferred that you are able to be on-site for at least a week at a time. Travel, meals, and housing will all be provided. Interested parties should contact head athletic trainer Brian Hebbard, at bhebbard@bostoncrusaders.org.
