In 2017, Inspire Arts & Music experienced incredible growth and success. We honored Mayor Walsh with the “Champion Award” at Concert in the Park and raised over $500,000 in corporate support for our programs. We added music programs in Hyde Park and Dorchester – free of charge for city kids. And the 2017 Boston Crusaders came out “hot” and finished “on fire” securing a Top Six DCI finish.

In 2018, we are expanding our city programs and adding after school art! We are prepping for our 5th Annual Concert in the Park and look to top last year’s great success! And….2018 will present another powerful and memorable Boston Crusaders. The team is back and busy preparing a program that will bring the crowd to its feet! We have added several more outstanding teachers to an already accomplished staff. We have record audition numbers with a strong returning cast. We are thrilled to be back on the New England tour and will host two great DCI shows! And YOU are a huge part of this great ride!

We have received a $100,000 gift to purchase and construct a new “state of the art” kitchen truck. This is critical to our success. We serve over 250 meals four times per day over the course of the summer. The quality of our member experience hinges on our ability to serve exceptional food efficiently. This new truck is desperately needed. The organization will finance approximately $100,000 which leaves a $50,000 gap.
