On December 13, 2023, in News, Staff News

Since 2017, Aaron Bailey has led the Boston Crusaders’ visual program as Visual Caption Head. Over the years, he has played an integral role to elevate the success of the corps both on and off the field. In 2024, Bailey takes on the additional role of staff coordinator.

In this role, Bailey will be charged with coordinating, scheduling, and communicating with the education staff throughout the season. Bailey will continue to oversee and lead the visual staff and the daily production of our visual program.

“Since joining the Boston Crusaders team, Bailey has been critical to our success,” said Boston Crusaders Executive Director Chris Holland. “He is a leader and is widely respected by our staff. He has a truly unique ability to communicate and facilitate the needs of all of our captions and subsections. Those needs impact scheduling, facilities use, and planning for the organization on and off the field. While it is a team effort – and all of our caption managers are terrific – Bailey will make a great quarterback.”

Aaron has been active in the marching arts activity teaching and performing since 2000. While Aaron studied business and design at Western Michigan University, he was a performer with the Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps and then later the Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps. After his performance career, Aaron worked with several top high school marching band programs around the Midwest and drum corps including the Boston Crusaders, Blue Stars, Bluecoats, Crossmen, and Carolina Crown. When not traveling around the world designing and instructing the visual arts, Aaron resides in Indianapolis, Indiana where he works as a graphic design and IT recruiting consultant.
