COVID-19 Update (March 18th)
Greetings,
In light of the COVID-19 outbreak, the Boston Crusaders and the entire DCI community have canceled their in-person weekend rehearsal camps for March and April, adhering to current guidance from the CDC, NIH, and the White House. As we monitor the unfolding situation, we are currently preparing details for a virtual April camp and color guard auditions. We will make information available in the coming weeks.
Inspire Arts & Music Executive Leadership is meeting regularly with the IAM Executive Board of Directors and our medical team during this unprecedented time. We are in tune with world, national, and local guidelines regarding health and safety. We are also closely monitoring and modeling our educational and business approach after other large governing bodies, associations, and businesses. We are making informed decisions; staying flexible; and staying positive.
Likewise, we are working closely with Drum Corps International leadership and the fraternity of DCI member corps Directors. We intend to modify our own activity accordingly, and we are planning contingencies and versions of our Boston Crusaders pre-tour move -in and summer schedule. We remain committed and hopeful that we will provide the summer of a lifetime for our participants, staff, volunteers, alumni and fans.
Please refer to the Drum Corps International response as of March 18, 2020 for further information regarding camps and the summer season. We appreciate your patience and support.
Respectfully,
Christopher P. Holland, Esquire
