BACBrass Goes Digital

On April 27, 2020, in News

With shelter in place orders keeping the 2020 Boston Crusaders apart, it almost felt impossible to make music together again this season. Thanks to the help of technology, the BACBrass is able rehearse and perform some of their favorites despite the distance! Over the last few weeks, the BACBrass joined together perform virtual versions of “Conquest,” a long-standing corps tradition, and “Sweet Caroline,” a favorite tune here at Boston’s Fenway Park. Big thank you to Brass Caption Head Gino Cipriani for coordinating and brass staff Jamie McDonald for assembling these videos! Stay tuned for more “Virtual Hornlines” throughout the spring!

The organization is committed to “march on” through this by using technology to allow for distance learning, history sessions, well-being check-ins, and socializing. Not limited to 2020 BAC members, there will be opportunities for alumni and friends!
