Brian Hebbard Joins As Athletic Trainer
The Boston Crusaders are excited to announce the addition of Brian Hebbard to the medical team this summer! As our new athletic trainer, Brian will travel alongside the corps and provide one-on-one medical attention to ensure our members are ready to perform each and every night. Brian will focus not only on treating and recovering sports injuries, but also prevention through the use of proactive conditioning and training. Meet Brian below!
A native of New York State, Brian Hebbard (MS, LAT, ATC) comes to us from SUNY Cortland where he serves as an athletic trainer for the field hockey and men’s lacrosse teams during the year. Brian received his Bachelors in Exercise Science in 2020, and Masters in Athletic Training in 2021, both from the University at Buffalo. He has held professional football positions with the Philadelphia Stars and the Buffalo Bills, and Division I positions with the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and Arizona State University.
While working largely with collegiate athletics in recent years, Brian is no stranger to the marching arts. Growing up in Johnson City, NY, Brian marched all four years with the Johnson City High School Marching Band before continuing his marching career with the University at Buffalo Marching Band and DCA’s White Sabers Drum and Bugle Corps. Brian is excited to return to the marching field this summer and combine his two passions — music and sports medicine.
