This summer, the Boston Crusaders will return to the Hatch Shell as a guest artist at the Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular. One of the nation’s largest July 4th celebrations, this year’s spectacular anchors a multiyear celebration in honor of Massachusetts 250 and America 250.

Guest artists include multiple Grammy Award winning stars including country icon Lainey Wilson, Chance The Rapper, and Trombone Shorty. The Boston Crusaders are featured in the lineup alongside the Boston Children’s Chorus, Middlesex County Volunteers Fifes and Drums, Tanglewood Festival Chorus, the USS Constitution Color Guard, and pianist Pelin Su Yavuz.

The Boston Pops Fireworks Spectacular is free and open to the public and expected break attendance records. The show begins at 7 pm and will conclude with a fireworks display at 9:15 pm. Times are subject to change. The event will be broadcast to millions of viewers locally on WHDH-Channel 7 and nationwide on CNN.

The corps first performed at the Hatch Shell in 2015 as part of the corps’ 75th Anniversary Celebration weekend. The corps joined the Pops for the grand finale, providing the soundtrack to the fireworks display with the 1812 Overture.
