Inspire Arts & Music, and the Boston Crusaders, along with the 7th Regiment Youth Performing Arts Organization and 7th Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps are excited to announce that the two organizations will be operating under a Partnership Agreement effective immediately.

The Boston Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps, entering its 77th season with renewed excitement and commitment to excellence, is pleased to forge this new relationship with 7th Regiment. “7th Regiment is a well established Open Class Drum Corps which consistently offers a high quality touring drum corps experience in an educational and nurturing environment. This partnership will allow both organizations to collaborate, share resources, and share best practices. Our designers and teaching staff are excited to be a resource and assist in any way. Our Board of Directors and the Inspire staff are equally excited to work with the 7th Regiment Board and administration.” Chris Holland, Executive Director, Boston Crusaders.

Founded in 2002, 7th Regiment is based out of New London, CT and competes in the Open Class within Drum Corps International. A perennial Open Class Finalist, 7th Regiment attracts members under the age of 21 from all over the United States, and has enjoyed global reach with members coming from Canada, Italy, and Australia. Under the direction of Kevin Lowery, 2017 presents a fresh and new 7th Regiment. “Inspire and the Boston Crusaders organization have a long history of success and tradition. This is an historic opportunity for 7th Regiment as we continue to grow, and we couldn’t be more excited.” Kevin Lowery, Director.

This a great news for drum corps fans and the marching arts in New England. Inspire Arts & Music is dedicated to supporting the drum corps activity, marching arts and indoor performing arts. This new partnership furthers the mission of Inspire and allows the organizations to collaborate and create educational and business opportunities. “There are lots of things we can do together, from audition camps and performances, to hosting shows and sharing resources. Drum corps is about relationships. This is a relationship I am very excited about. I look forward to working with Kevin.” Chris Holland
